Toronto’s Underground Night Market Returns This Summer
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

Toronto’s food scene is getting a fresh twist this summer with the launch of the Underground Night Market (stylized as UNDR GRND NGHT MRKT). Set against the scenic backdrop of the Harbourfront Centre Commons, this weekly event promises a vibrant mix of street food, indie vendors, and live entertainment every Saturday evening from May 31 to July 26, 2025.

Running from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m., the market offers an array of culinary delights, all priced at $10 or less. Attendees can savor gourmet tacos, artisanal burgers, vegan and vegetarian options, and decadent desserts, all crafted by emerging local chefs and pop-up vendors. Complementing the food are unique cocktails, mocktails, and artisanal beverages from up-and-coming mixologists.

Beyond the culinary offerings, the market features a curated selection of handmade goods and art from indie vendors. Live DJ sets keep the energy high, creating a festive atmosphere right by the waterfront. With free admission, it’s an ideal spot for a summer evening outing.

The Underground Night Market is part of a broader trend of night markets in Toronto, joining events like the Toronto Waterfront Night Market and the Harbourfront Night Market. These markets celebrate the city’s diverse culinary landscape and community spirit, offering residents and visitors alike a chance to explore new flavors and experiences.
