Espro’s first French press cafe is coming to Toronto

Brace up Coffee Lovers! A Canadian coffee brand celebrated worldwide for its innovative coffee accessories is about to make a bold splash in Toronto. Vancouver based coffee connoisseur Espro, best known for their French presses, is preparing to open its first-ever cafe. They bring a promise with them; the coffee experience will be first of its kind that the residents of Toronto have ever experienced.

Taking over the cozy corner spot at 2102 Queen St. E. in the Beaches, the new Espro cafe will proudly become Canada’s first-ever French press–only coffee shop. That’s right — every cup served here will be brewed exclusively with French presses, showcasing Espro’s signature technology of the exceptional coffee.

But what really sets this cafe apart is its unique atmosphere: Espro plans for it to be a strictly Wi-Fi-free zone. Instead of digital distractions, customers will be encouraged to connect with one another and fully immerse themselves in the art and experience of great coffee.

The cafe will present expert baristas and coffee specialists. More interestingly, the cafe will offer “The Espro Experience”, a guided tasting featuring a rotating selection of seasonal beans sourced from around the globe.

This new location will also serve as the official headquarters for Espro’s parent company, DKK Brands. Peng Lin, owner and CEO, shares his excitement about the move: “As someone who lives here and truly loves this neighbourhood, it means a lot to bring that same passion into a space rooted in the community — where people can slow down, connect and really taste the difference for themselves.”

The grand opening date is expected sometime in July, so Beaches locals and French press fans alike should keep an eye out for this fresh new addition to Toronto’s coffee culture. Get ready to experience coffee the Espro way; slow, rich, and digital detox.
